# Plans & Credits

> Understanding Kleap's pricing, plans, and credit system

Kleap uses a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you use the AI to build and edit your sites. Publishing, hosting, and viewing your sites are always free.

### How Pro & Business scale

Pro and Business aren't fixed tiers — you pick how many monthly AI credits you need with a slider, and the price scales with it (from 100 credits up to 10,000+). **Business** includes everything in **Pro** plus team features: **SSO**, **design templates**, **private projects**, and the option to **opt out of data training**.

  Every plan — including Free — includes **5 free AI credits per day**. **Launch** is a hosting plan: it unlocks a custom domain and always-on hosting, and keeps your daily free credits, but doesn't add a monthly credit pool.

## How Credits Work

### Free daily credits

Every user can claim **5 free credits** once every 24 hours.

* **Claim frequency**: once per 24 hours
* **Credits per claim**: 5
* **Free-plan cap**: up to 30 claims per month

### Paid monthly credits

Paid plans add a monthly pool of AI credits on top of the daily free ones.

* **Paid credits roll over** — they never expire
* Free daily credits are used first, then your paid balance

### Credit consumption

Credits are **usage-based**, not a flat cost per message. A short tweak costs a fraction of a credit; a large, complex build costs more. As a rough guide:

| New section or component   | 1–3 credits       |
| Full page creation         | 3–8 credits       |
| Large, complex feature     | 8+ credits        |

### Credit top-ups

Need more credits without changing plans? You can buy one-time credit top-ups from your dashboard. First-time top-ups include a bonus.

### What happens when you run out?

* Your published sites keep working normally
* You can't make new AI edits until you get more credits
* Options: wait for your next daily claim, buy a top-up, upgrade your plan, or earn referral credits

## Referral Program

Earn bonus credits by inviting friends:

| **Your friend (referee)** | +10 credits on signup                                   |

### How to Refer

1. Go to **Settings** in your dashboard
2. Copy your unique referral link
3. Share it with friends
4. They sign up and you both earn credits

## Free Actions

These never consume credits:

* Viewing and browsing your sites
* Publishing and hosting (always free)
* Connecting custom domains
* Editing text directly in the preview
* Generating images
* Viewing version history and the code editor
* Managing account and team settings
